Fatu Amara is a policy and health professional with over 4 years of experience leading impactful initiatives across the US, UK, Africa, and Asia. Her research and innovative policy work have addressed major health crises, including SARS, Ebola, and COVID-19. With experience at leading organizations such as the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, NYCEDC, and the NYC Administration for Children’s Services, Fatu’s career integrates policy, public health, and development. She is an alumna of the prestigious NYC Urban Fellows Program and the Jeannette K. Watson Fellowship.
